Arca

The rescuing of forests, known through a trip or a story told, awakens the sensation that there is something there that must be preserved.

With this in mind, Arco was created, a gesture to protect, from the impact of time and everything else that could threaten nature's grandeur - a selection of woods that could represent an imaginary forest, with all the woods in the world. It is a simple and ambitious display, that provoked the creative work and a journey to a new surface.

Rescuing woods, discovering new species, enabling them to travel and reuniting a diverse archive of unmatched beauty, is the design challenge. Recreating the woods, intensifying or dampening their markings, finding the best balance of new shades and cultivating a new forest – now material, now a new collection of woods, as result of a process that differentiated it and guaranteed its authenticity.

Arca Nórdic, from the gradient knots of European Oak to the earthy warmth of the tropical species, a diversity balanced with the soft tones of the light in the region.
